Momentum Experiment
Try the "egg drop" animation. Record the results and calculate the collision force acting on the egg for each case.
Calculate the "impulse" as well.
Show your working using the above formula and write the calculations in your notebook.
Answer the following questions with complete sentences in your notebook:
1. What happens to the collision force on the egg when it has a larger mass?
2. What happens to the collision force when the egg is dropped from higher? Explain why? (hint: it has something to do with the velocity just before impact)
3. What happens to the collision force when the egg has a collision with a more soft surface? Explain why? (hint: relates to the size of the deceleration)
